Smoked Jackfruit: The dish that started all.

Hello everyone! I’m here with another great plant-based BBQ video. This time, I’d like to  talk about one of the first dish people are introduced to while trying Plant-based BBQ. After doing restaurant consulting for many years, I noticed that many people around the world were doing jackfruit wrong. In this new videos I want to make sure you  follow this essential process to get a world-class smoked jackfruit. So let’s try out Jackfruit done right!

 

INGREDIENTS:

 

  • Jackfruit in a bag or Canned Jackfruit in brine (Plain jackfruit, no sauced added)

  • Cheese cloth

  • 1 tablespoon of Fool’s Gold jackfruit rub

  • 1 tablespoon of demerara sugar 

  • ¼ of a teaspoon of smoked hickory salt

  • 1 tablespoon of hemp seeds or chia seeds
