How do you get protein?

There is a misconception, which has pretty much turned into a stigma, that proteins come from animals. If you decide to go plant-based, you will get this question over and over again. What do I have to say about it? Well, that is not true at all. After I started a new lifestyle, losing 120 pounds and reverting 6 life-threating diseases, I realized that although many dishes have not many proteins, there are some substitutes that can be used in basically every recipe you prepare.
